"Inner muscles" generally refer to muscles on the inside, as the term suggests. These inner muscles basically refer to slow-twitch (red) muscle fibers.

Many women mistakenly think that "slow-twitch (red) muscle fibers = inner muscles" are suitable for dieting, but actually, you must train primarily fast-twitch (white) muscle fibers rather than slow-twitch (red) muscle fibers to be diet-suitable.

This is because, as you know, the fundamental principle of dieting is to prioritize increasing basal metabolism, which accounts for 70% of the body's energy expenditure.

Muscle physiologically, it's known that slow-twitch (red) muscle fibers hardly increase in mass no matter how much you train them. Conversely, fast-twitch (white) muscle fibers have the property of increasing. To build muscle, you should focus on fast-twitch (white) muscle fiber training. Isn't it wasteful to keep moving muscles that don't increase??
